COURSE DESCRIPTION
level 1: “Qaida”
We start with the Basic Quran Reading. Before attempting Quranic recitation, We will teach Arabic alphabet, pronunciation, and forms when joined with other letters. The student starts with the letters’ sounds and shapes, then we will move to fatha, kasra, and damma, sukoon, and other basic tashkeel (vowel) rules.
level 2: (Nazra)
The student practices recitation of the Qur’an with all the basic rules of reading and recitation. We begin with Juz Amma (para 30) and then from the 1st Juz to 29th.
Once the student has learned the basics of recitation, she/he can start reading the Quran. The teacher will start with shorter surahs, and gradually work up to longer ones. Teacher will make sure that the student will read the Quran with proper pronunciation and tajweed
